Case of rapidly enlarging Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans during pregnancy followed by metastasis in the absence of local recurrence.

Subsequently, the patient enlisted in the military service. Approximately 6 months later one of the authors (P.G.L.) received a call from the patient's physician seeking additional information regarding her medical history. The patient had presented with a neck mass and pulmonary nodules on a chest radiograph. Fine-needle aspirate from both the neck mass and pulmonary nodules had been consistent with a diagnosis of fibrosarcoma.
