Alberta's oilsands could bring an estimated 343,000 new jobs to the United States between 2011 and 2015, and $34 billion to its gross domestic product by 2015, the expected peak year for oilsands capital spending.As oilsands investment on new projects ramps up in Canada starting in 2013 demand for U.S. goods and services will increase rapidly, to an estimated $40.4 billion in 2020 and $42.2 billion in 2025, according to a recently released study by the Canadian Energy Research Institute (CERI), commissioned by the American Petroleum Institute.
