Despite production that rose at least 12% in both periods, Crescent Point Energy Trust saw revenue drop 37.4% and 39% respectively in this year's second quarter and first half, due to much lower product prices (see table). Oil and gas volumes for the two periods included only one month's production from properties acquired earlier from Talisman Energy Inc. and TriStar Oil & Gas Ltd. These assets are producing an estimated 4,000 bbls of oil equivalent per day. Crescent Point became a corporation on July 2, 2009, and is now known as Crescent Point Energy Corp., although results for the months ended June 30, 2009 have been booked to the trust.
