New Crude Oil Pipeline Projects Will Ease Constraints, Says NEB

After periods of apportionment on Canadian crude oil export pipelines, new projects currently under construction are expected tc ease any capacity constraints as early as this fall, says the National Energy Board. "We've seen capacity constraints on oil pipelines for the past several years," Gaetan Caron, NEB chairman, said in a prepared statement as the board released its fifth annual Canadian pipeline transportation system-transportation assessment. "This will chang toward the end of 2009 and into 2010 when pipelines previously approved by the board begin operations."
