The diary has been jam-packed. Invited to a fun wine-tasting competition at Trax, by amiable proprietor Track Armor, I learnt I was honoured: these events are restricted to 12 regulars. To get an invite is a high accolade; not to turn up, denying another would-be participant a seat, social disgrace. I'd never been to Trax, even when it was News Cafe. Our son raved about the place when last here, but he doesn't earn Zimkwacha; I gathered it was megabucks dear.
