Creation of value through forest land consolidation [Wertschopfung durch waldflurbereinigung]

The consideration of the benefits that are created in a forest land consolidation process, shows that in the process area and beyond holistically on multiple levels of recipients improvements are provided. The monetization of the benefits allowed to compare these to each other and to identify particularly high utility values. Particularly high benefits create the national supply of wood, increasing the attractiveness of the forest for recreation, the improvement in the income of forest owners and workplace safety, the preservation of the land value, finding the parcels and the contribution to climate protection.
