The synthesis and characterization including the crystal structure of the dinuclear palladium(II) complex [(κ-S,S′)-{N(SPPh_2) _2}Pd(μ-{κ~2-S″,S?})-{N(SPPh _2)_2}PdCl_2] (1) are reported. Compound 1 was obtained from the reaction of [PdCl_2(COD)] (COD=1,5-cyclooctadiene) and HN(SPPh_2)_2 in a 1: 1 molar ratio in CH _2Cl_2. The {N(SPPh_2)_2}- ligands act both as bridging and/or terminally chelating units.
