A new record of Megatoma {Pseudohadrotoma) graeseri (Coleoptera: Dermestidae: Megatominae) from Manitoba, Canada

Megatoma {Pseudohadroioma) graeseri (Reitter, 1887), an eastern Palaearctic species, is newly recorded in North America, with specimens reported from Manitoba, Canada.The family Dermestidae is divided into 6 subfamilies (Bouchard et al. 2011) with 59 genera and approximately 1440 species and subspecies worldwide (Hava & Solervicens 2012). Recent published catalogues (Bousquet 1991; Beal 2003; Hava 2003) recorded 7 species belonging to the genus Megatoma Herbst, 1791 from Canada. In the present note, a newly recorded eastern Palaearctic species is reported for the Nearctic and Canada specifically.
