AMA Laboratories Inc. is a clinical testing laboratory devoted to the evaluation of finished cosmetic products and cosmetic ingredients. We are strategically located just a short drive north of New York City, in a modern facility which occupies approximately 25,000 square feet of laboratory and administrative space. Founded in 1984, we have extensive experience in the fields of health and beauty aids (HBA), personal care and Over-the-Counter Drugs (OTCis). We specialize in the areas of protocol development, safety and efficacy testing and product demonstrations. We conduct testing of sunscreens, moisturizers, wrinkle treatments, hair products, etc. AMA Laboratories, Inc. provides claim substantiation for major corporations and television networks with the use of photographic, instrumental and biophysical measurements. AMA Laboratories, Inc. is both an ISO 9001-2008 certified and FDA registered facility. However, to simply sum-up, we develop novel strategies and utilize scientific photography in order to provide our clients with well-controlled, statistically valid studies.
