Outlook for industrial gases in the petrochemical industry

Industrial gases are used in almost every modern manufacturing process, especially in refining and petrochemical (petrochemis-try) facilities. The hydrocarbon processing industry (HPI) uses industrial gases as processing reactants and for safety and environmen-tal needs. Common gases include hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and c carbon monoxide. As the global HPI evolves to meet future demands, supply and distribution of industrial gases must likewise adapt.
