BASF sells SolVin stake to Solvay, divests textile chemicals business

BASF sold its 25% share in the SolVin JV to Solvay. SolVin was established in 1999 as a 75%/25% JV between Solvay and BASF in the area of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Financial details were not disclosed. Additionally, BASF reached agreements with Solvay and Inovyn to continue to supply BASF's site in Antwerp with basic chemicals.
