The supermarket giant has emerged unscathed from a Competition Commission enquiry, despite the possibility of an ombudsman to oversee retailer-supplier exploitation and the possibility of it having to sell-off land banks bought to block rivals from providing competition. This could mean that Tesco may be using the newly bought Dobbies garden centre group, which it wants to expand, as a tenant on its land.
