The article describes the approach, scope and methodology, and results of numerical modelling of the two-sided extrusion process. In theoretical studies, relationships of the extrusion force versus the ram path were determined, and the obtained values were compared with energy and force parameters computed for the coextrusion method. The commercial program Forge~R 2D was employed for the theoretical analysis of the process
