摘要

Having started dancing at the age of three in a court house in Queensland, by my late teens ballet was my life, until a back injury at 16 put an end to a dancing career. While I still dance, I have had to find an alternative career path. I turned to teaching ballet late in high school and completed my three-year Teaching Certificate with the Royal Academy of Dance in the same year I completed honours in chemistry at the University of Western Australia. I feel extremely lucky to have discovered my passion for chemistry at university and have no regrets in the path I have taken.
