摘要

The aim of the study was to apply teachable agents into educational game meant for children less than 12 years of age and evaluate the outcome in context of cognitive psychology of learning. The study was done in two phases: design phase and evaluation phase (N=300). The design of the game was done in order to support relatively free use of teachable agents in an easy-to-use environment. The main findings of the study were a clear causality between quality of the taught semantic networks in game world and players' knowledge in real life and an evidence that learning away is an important feature when trying to enable conceptual change in educational games.
