It would indeed take a Wordsworth to do justice to the experience of wandering across a heath of West Australian wildflowers in late September.Across the Brand Highway from the Badgingarra roadhouse is a low ridge with a narrow dusty path,up which my wife and I wandered amongst hosts of hakeas,dryandras,casuarinas,pink bells and cobalt-blue lechenaultias,varying as the soil changed from sand to stony laterite.
