摘要

Presented paper introduces a method for the modeling and analysis of non-sinusoidal Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machines (PMSM). This modeling approach and the method for the analysis are especially suitable for the machines which have non-sinusoidal nature with respect to winding inductances and speed voltages. The key feature of this method is the inclusion of the higher order harmonic terms in the inductance and flux linkage matrices. In the paper, the basic steps of the Finite Elements Analysis, by which the model parameters are calculated, are given. As an example, a buried type PMSM is modeled and obtained model is solved. Solutions of this model show that this approach is somewhat superior for predicting machine variables when compared well known d-q0 formulation.
