George was one of the founder members of the South Western Hereford Association 41 years ago and, as well as being possibly the oldest Hereford Breeder he is the oldest exhibitor and longest exhibitor of cattle at the Royal Cornwall Show. Longevity isa family trait. His mother May, who lived to over 100 years, flew to Canada to see her sister when she was 90. George and his wife Mavis started breeding Herefords nearly 60 years ago but sadly she passed away in 1998. Today, the herds are run with sonsFred & Roland and sister Jackie - all being keen and great ambassadors of the Hereford Breed.
