A woven fabric (Dymetrol) has been developed as a suspension system for passenger seats on commercial aeroplanes. The developer, imeco GmbH & Co KG of Hosbach, Germany, says Dymetrol helps to reduce the weight, cost and assembly time for a seat, without compromising on the design flexibility or the passengers' comfort.
