VOITH AND AUDI TO DEVELOP HIGH-VOLUME PRODUCTION METHODS FOR FIBRE- REINFORCED PLASTICS

A partnership agreement to develop fibre-reinforced plastics and automated processes for the high-volume production of fibre-reinforced plastics has been signed by Audi AG and Voith GmbH. The long-term and exclusive partnership between Audi of Ingolstadt and Voith of Heidenheim, both of Germany, is to focus on the development of fibre-reinforced plastics for use in automotive projects, in order to reduce vehicle weight.
