The Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust has been fined 10,000 pounds for failing to monitor and control dermatitis risk among its staff. Despite the risk being well known in the health care sector, where workers have to wash their hands frequently, the trust gave its staff little information about measures that would have reduced the risk, such as drying hands fully and applying moistu riser.
