KNOWLEDGE ONLINE (KOL) has produced E-SAFE 100 to "decrease costs and identify hazards faster" through management of on-site inspections. Using E-SAFE 100, you can create inspections on a desktop PC and download them to a PDA (personal digital assistant) to take to the inspection site. You can upload the information you collected on the PDA to your PC. You can filter a list of inspections (for example by project phase, inspector or status) to make it easier to prioritise them. Overdue inspections are highlighted in red, and any due inspection can be downloaded to the inspector's PDA. Once downloaded, an inspection is "locked out" so no changes can be made on the PC.
