Shell, Partners Study Selective Investment to Avoid Margin Pressure Ahead

Shell and its downstream partners are studying worldwide opportunities, including possibly expanding the Motiva refinery at Port Arthur, Texas, to make it the biggest refinery in the U.S. Shell's other partnerships with Saudi Aramco at al-Jubail and in Showa Shell in Japan, as well as its partnerships with PEMEX and Q8 are all being studied, according to Rob Routs, executive director of Downstream at Shell.
