IEA Head: Current Energy Policies are 'Environmentally Unsustainable'

The executive director of the International Energy Agency (IEA) told a U.N. convention on climate change at the Conference of the Parties (COP) in Nairobi that current energy policies are creating an "insecure and environmentally unsustainable" energy future and asked ministers to find a way to get from current policies to policies and technologies that will create a different future.
