Reflections on Takahama Jr. et al's 'Comparison of two prognostic scores for patients with parotid carcinoma'.

We feel the need to give some comments to the recently published manuscript "Comparison of two prognostic scores for patients with pa rotid carcinoma," by Takahama Jr, et al.First of all, we would like to compliment the authors on their effort to try and validate 2 pre viously described prognostic indices for patients with parotid carcinoma. This is indeed the way to advance, the knowledge on prognostic fac tors for these patients.
