The vascular plant red data list for Great Britain: year 2 amendments

Following publication of the year 1 amendments to the Red data list (Leach 2007), the JNCC-coordinated 'Species Status Assessment Group' produced an agreed list of Year 2 amendments, covering the period January to December 2007. These changes were incorporated into the JNCC 'master' list in August 2009, a copy of which can be found at http://vvww.jncc.gov.uk/page-3408. As the JNCC spreadsheet is rather large and unwieldy (45.8 megabytes when 'unzipped'), we give a summary of the 'year 2' changes below. It should be noted that all these changes were made by applying the same I.U.C.N. threat criteria (I.U.C.N. 2001, 2003) as those used when compiling the Red data list (Cheffmgs & Farrell 2005).
