摘要

Genetic divergence for nine quality traits was worked out in twenty five genotypes of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.). The genotypes were grouped into seven clusters, of which cluster II had maximum eight genotypes while cluster VI and VII had one genotype each. The genotypes differ significantly for nine traits considered collectively. Potassium and nitrogen content of tuber contributed maximum towards the total divergence. Crosses between genotypes of different clusters may be used for developing thehigh yielding and superior genotypes in potato.
