摘要

Application of Sulphur @ 80 kg. per ha significantly increased plant height, number of tillers, total dry matter production leaf area duration, total chlorophyll content, fresh and cured rhizome yield. The important yield components viz., number of primary fingers and harvest index were significantly higher with application 80 kg of sulphur per ha. The same treatment also recorded significantly curing percentage and curcumin content and this treatment was found to be more economic as compared to other treatments.
