Pemex Reconfiguring,Modernizing Minatitlan Refinery

Mexico's state-run oil firm Pemex is set to reconfigure and modernize its Minatitlan refinery.According to a company statement,the Minatitlan project will increase the plant's throughput capacity by about 140,000 b/d and boost gasoline and diesel production by more than 100,000 b/d.Of the additional 140,000 b/d of throughput capacity,70% will be configured to process heavy Maya crude,Pemex said.
