Singaporean stocks rise on gasoline jump; Japanese stocks rebound.

International Enterprise's weekly inventory report for Singapore showed that total onshore inventories climbed 974K bbl to 40.308MM bbl in the week to Jan. 9. Inventories of light distillates surged to a high not seen in over 10 months, due to heavy inflows of gasoline and reformate. The increase more than offset a massive draw in fuel oil stocks, which settled at a near-four-and-a-half-month low. Shipments went to South Korea and China. Meanwhile, middle distillate inventories increased to a five-week peak on exports from Japan and South Korea.
