According to industry sources, the Saudi state company's subsidiary Aramco Trading Co. has set up an office in Singapore and is currendy assembling a team to market oil products there. There are no immediate plans, the sources said, to set up oil trading operations in Singapore, however. Aramco trading has stepped up its activity in derivatives markets lately, but a source said that those operations would continue to be based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
