Mexico is more likely to be part of the problem than part of the solution to gas glut in North America over the next couple of years (p8). Mexican gas imports plunged to just 415,000 million cubic feet (11.76 million cubic meters) per day in the first two months of 2009, from roughly 700,000 MMcf/d in the same period of 2008. And no real pickup is expected as the year progresses.
