Gas flaring in Opec countries rose for the fourth straight year in 2015, according to the latest edition of the producer group's Annual Statistical Bulletin. As it has since 2012, the percentage growth in flaring also outpaced that of raw gas production, suggesting members' efforts to stop expensive and environmentally damaging flaring have yet to pay dividends.
