Germany's E.On Takes Plunge Into Russian Power Sector

Germany's E.On is set to make the biggest foreign investment to date in the Russian power sector in a deal that will give it control of wholesale generating company OGK-4.The German firm at the weekend with a 100 billion rubles(3.95 billion)bid won a tender for a 37.4% stake in OGK-4,which was spun off from UES as part of the former Russian generation monopoly's ongoing privatization program.
