Beijing's notoriously tough line on gas pricing is evidently complicating Gazprom's efforts not only to negotiate a gas sales deal with China,but also to resolve its relationships with Exxon Mobil at the Sakhalin-1 project and with TNK-BP at the Kovykta field in East Siberia - not to mention holding up adoption of the oft-promised comprehensive plan for developing East Siberian and Far Eastern gas reserves.
