Northeast Asian prices have dropped 150 to $7.95 per million Btu, pressured down by soft oil prices and emerging supply, according to WGI assessments for LNG cargoes for delivery four to eight weeks ahead. In Southwest Europe, prices edged down 100 to $6.45/MMBtu. The UK National Balancing Point (NBP) day-ahead price assessed by WGI dropped 50 to $6.27/MMBtu, while September NBP futures fell 180 to $6.15. Netbacks for Mideast sellers in Asia were almost $1.60 higher than in Southwest Europe, while UK/Belgian netbacks were nearly $1.90 lower than in Asia.
