The rapid flip in LNG market conditions from boom in 2008 to bust in 2009 is bringing in its wake more sophisticated and varied pricing and other conditions as new Asian term contracts are negotiated — and casting doubt on the continued viability of some long-time regional favorites such as the S-curve and exclusive price linkage to the Japan Crude Cocktail (JCC).
