Hope that the closure this week of Qatar's first new 7.8 million ton per year LNG train might signal a reprieve from the likely startup of no fewer than four new trains before the end of this year may prove short-lived (WGI Apr.8,p1).The facility is down only for "routine maintenance," to tighten "phalanges" and to make other preparations to get the train ready to run for several years before the next maintenance period, an official from state Qatargas said Monday.
