Peru's years-long effort to build a gas pipeline linking the large Camisea gas field in the center of the country to cities in the poor and heavily indigenous south has run into yet more problems. The latest emerged last week, when the government agency charged with tendering the project disqualified one of the two groups that submitted bids, prompting complaints and suggesting more delays are likely.
