Furthermore, the Northeast Asian market economy has been advancing worldwide since the end of the Cold War. This global economic trend is the premise of Northeast Asia's development. In the former socialist nations, effortswere made to reform and liberate the economies; radically in Russia and Eastern Europe and moderately in China and Vietnam. Although the nations have experienced several complications, market economies gradually spread in these nations. On the other hand, the Northeast Asian nations are achieving rapid development and are entering the market competition, which originally had been occupied by major capitalist nations. Namely, the global market is expanding and economic competition is becoming more severe. Pursuing measures that would properly respond to such environmental changes is a common proposition for all nations, particularly for the Northeast Asian nations.
