GLP, otherwise known as Good Laboratory Practices, apply to many procedures, including the methods used for screening, testing, and approval of agricultural chemicals. Since 1988, the array of agricultural chemicals used in the production of grapes, tree fruit, and field crops listed with the Environmental Protection Agency are being systematically re-registered, in addition to any new materials being introduced.
