Name change reflects Marsh growth

Leading Western Australian contracting industry figure Phillip Marsh has responded to the widening focus of his company's operations with a trading name change to Marsh Civil.The company, founded in 1967 by his parents, Gordon and Joan Marsh, has operated for more than 20 years as Marsh Earthmoving. Philip Marsh said the change applied only to the company's trading name-the legal entity and structure of the privately owned and operated WA business were unchanged.The new name recognized that the range and scale of the company's activities had grown far beyond earthmoving into the full range of civil engineering projects, he said.
