Cost analysis of hard coal mines liquidation in Poland in 1991-2002

Liquidation of mines is a natural process in each mining entity. The article presents selected aspects of mines liquidation process in Poland in 1999-2001 including such aspects as: liquidation costs, state budget subsidies for mines liquidation. The authors also point to essential changes that took palace in the rate of effects of liquidation process's realisation, relating form implementation of the government programme of the reform of this branch.
