摘要

In the paper the mineralogical characterisation of the Carboniferous mine wastes from the "Bogdanka" hard coal mine is presented. Results of the monitoring, carried out since 1998, cover the mineralogical and chemical compositions.Currently, clay minerals constitute over 50% of the composition of the wastes and basic phases are: kaolinite, illite, chlorite and smectite. Variability of the content of clay minerals and quartz in the wastes during the period of the monitoring is small. The most variable compounds are siderite, calcite and pyrite.
