摘要

The paper presents the way to plan for the determination of the charge quantities to be used while blasting in a tunnel situated nearby an existing tunnel both running parallel with varying rock separation between the two Rock dynamics and the extentof damages govern the planning and execution of blasting operation. This study can effectively be considered for protecting the nearby structures from blasting damages. The author has recommended few tips which may be useful to other engineers who are undertaking jobs under similar situations.
