In the last two years the debate about climate change has moved from melting glaciers there to heat-waves here,and from 'is it really happening?' to 'what can we do about it?' The National Trust is seeking to reduce its environmental footprint and carbon emissions through a process of energy,water and waste efficiency measures,and looking at opportunities for renewables and improved carbon storage in soils.But we know that we also have many decades of accelerating climate change to cope with and adapt to.
