摘要

1 Superplastic deformation can be regarded as a universal method of pressure welding titanium alloys, ensuring the regulation and control of the structural changes of the weld zone using the parameters of the process such as temperature, strain rate, degree of deformation. 2 The fabrication of a packet of sheet components by the pressure welding method in the superplastic condition greatly widens the technological possibilities of producing components of the type of the spherical vessels in titanium alloys. 3 The mechanical properties of the' material of the zone of the welded joint of the spherical vessels made of titanium alloys, produced by the technology of combining superplastic forming and pressure welding, are practically identical to the properties of the parent metal.
