SINCE ITS LAUNCH in 1997, Toyota's hybrid Prius has been lapped up by more than 58,000 drivers in the UK, keen to keep their motoring costs low and their CO_2 footprints small. Now, 15 years later, supermini fans are about to find out what all the fuss is about, with the launch of the Prius's little brother-the ￡15,000 Yaris Hybrid. However, we haven't been so glowing about the basic Toyota Yaris, giving it only two stars and criticising its unappealing interior and general noisiness.
