It isn't often that a new food store causes any excitement. After all, massive superstores that take up half a town and are filled with foreign produce are commonplace. A couple of years ago M&S opened one of its Simply Food outlets in the lovely town market town of Beverley. Yes, the food might have been a bob or two dearer but the quality was always superb and the shop was always full of eager shoppers.
