WAS THE lucky winner of the Pentagon Supaglass competition which was promoted in the March issue of Volkswagen Driver, and to say I was pleased is a total understatement. Martin Westney, the MD of Pentagon, arranged for my 2005 Sharan to be fitted out with Supaglass, and I was welcomed by Phillip Hammond, the branch manager at Hainault, who went over what would be done to the car. One thing I wasn't aware of is that the Supaglass coating is completely clear and tinting is a separate operation with an additional cost, but this was also arranged.
